Byfords

January 2016

We were asked by Byfords to come in and survey their current network infrastructure as over the years numerous contractors had added and added until numerous essential services were starting to impact the business. In addition they wished to give an excellent Wi-Fi service to their customers and guest.

We are currently involved in installing a new infrastructure to the site whilst it continues to trade, working with them and out of hours to deliver the project as planned. Great people to work for and it must be said simply fantastic food!

New offices and new network

February 2014

Having worked on their old office network some years ago we were invited to come up with proposals and prices for cabling out the new offices.

Working closely with the client we proposed installing a Hubbell Premis wiring enhanced Cat6 solution which is able to offer 10gig copper over distances of up to 50m. Having calculated that no runs were longer than 40m this was an ideal solution to provide a future proofed network but at only a marginally higher cost than Cat6 but much less than Cat6a.

The network was delivered on time and on budget and the business was able to move in over the weekend and be up and running on the Monday morning.

Norfolk Recycling Services

February/March 2014

We were proud to be selected by Norse Commercial Services to help the rolling out of new IT systems to the Recycling centres throughout Norfolk.

We had to work to tight deadlines to ensure the roll out was delivered by Norse within the contracted time period.

Wymondham Leisure Centre Refurbishment 2016

December 2015

We won a tender to supply the network infrastructure to this multi million pound refurbishment on behalf of South Norfolk Council. Working direct through one of the main sub-contractors Sotham Engineering we have installed over 200 network points bringing the site right up to date and fit for the 21st century.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with both Sotham and the main contractor Kier Construction.

British Medical Association

April - July 2015

A long standing client of ours, we have been installing network cabling to their offices around the country for over 10 years. In 2015 we were asked to carry out cabling to provide the backbone for a new wireless network system based on Avaya technology. We had to carry the work out during office hours to prevent disruption as much as possible as well as working alongside other trades as they carried out refurbishment around the main London offices.

In all we installed over 200 dedicated Cat6 points to give them capacity for gigabit wireless services in the future. We also carried out the installation of the access points on behalf of the IT hardware supplier.
